Learn More About Eloisa

Background information:

I am privileged to have worked with clients from many walks of life over the past 10 years across the NHS, charities and community interest settings, and private hospitals. Alongside my therapy practice, I am a tutor to Psychology PhD and Masters students and Psychotherapy trainees.

Acknowledging the impact of diversity and context is important in my work. I have consulted for the Psychological Professions Network on widening participation for under-represented groups in psychology training programmes.

Meeting Eloisa:

My style is warm, accepting, and empathetic, whilst being compassionately curious and honest. I’m genuinely interested in how you experience the world in your own unique individual way. Our initial sessions will usually focus on developing a shared understanding of your challenges, strengths and goals, going at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

As our sessions progress, our work might look like compassionate listening alongside reflection and exploration, whilst at other times it may look like working with coping tools and strategies, as we work towards further insights, healing and growth.

Difficulties Eloisa helps with:

I work with a diverse range of difficulties which include, but are not limited to: anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, trauma, interpersonal and relationship issues, the impact of physical health conditions, chronic pain, body dysmorphia/appearance anxiety and eating disorders.

Interests outside of psychology:

I regularly go to dance classes, for my own creative expression, as well as for general health and wellbeing. Spending time with loved ones is important to me and I also try to make time to travel and see more of the world where I can. My two cats also bring me a lot of joy!
