Hi, I’m Ilan! I’m a Clinical Psychologist and I run the Little Bee Clinic.
Hey Ilan, can you tell me more about yourself?!

First of all, I want to tell you that I love what I do, and always have, ever since I started volunteering for Childline back in 2007. After this, I got lots of experience working with all sorts of people like children, teenagers, adults and more! To help me work with all these different types of people, I have had to go to University a few times and have what are called undergraduate, masters and doctorate degrees. During these studies, I learnt lots of helpful ways to help people like you!

I want to come and see you, what will it be like?

The most important thing about coming to see me is that you feel comfortable and safe when we talk. Some people say it's scary coming to see a psychologist, so I do my best to make you feel as relaxed as possible. I hope this will help you feel ready to talk and for us to try to make things better for you together. If you don't feel like you can talk at the beginning, we can sometimes draw pictures or play games to help you explain yourself!

Do you help people with problems like me?
I have done lots of training so I can help people with all sorts of problems. Some people feel sad, worried or scared, and others find it hard to make friends, get in lots of trouble at school or just think everyone is better than them. Sometimes the best thing to do is to meet with the whole family, which we can also do if it helps! I have learned many different ways to try and help people which you can find more about if you click on the "How we help" button at the top.
What do you like to do?
When I'm not working, I love watching and playing sport. My favourite thing to do is to watch my favourite team, Arsenal, play football. They aren't very good at the moment but I still love to watch. I also really like to see my friends and family, and play with my three nephews and two nieces!
